The Arctic Emblem is a lapel badge issued by the British Ministry of Defence for Arctic Veterans or their surviving families. It is a 1cm white star with a gold edge. In the centre is a dull red sun.  The caption at the top is "The Arctic"

The qualification is to have spent one day of service inside the Arctic Circle.  Application form are available from Geoff Raebel or the MOD
